The special issue of Theology and Sexuality (20.3) that I co-edited with
Martin Pendergast of the Centre for the Study of Christianity and
Sexuality is now out. It is based on some of the presentations from the "Embodied Ministry: Gender, Sexuality and Formation" conference which took place at Ripon College Cuddesdon in 2014. (For complex reasons, the issue is also dated 2014, but is actually appearing now.)
Full access to the editorial is available.
The other articles are:
Carla A. Grosch-Miller: "Fifty Shades of Grace: The Crafting of Sexual Wisdom"
Jan Berry, "A Safe Space for Healing: Boundaries, Power and Vulnerability in Pastoral Care"
Rachel Mann, "'Queering' Spiritual Direction: Towards a Trans*-Literary Praxis"
Nicola Slee, "God-Language in Public and Private Prayer: A Place for Integrating Gender, Sexuality and Faith"
Carla A. Grosch-Miller, Sharon Ferguson and Brendan Callaghan, "Gender and Sexuality in the Pastoral Encounter"
Thank you to all the brilliant contributors for their hard work!
